Monday, August 14 – Friday, August 18: 9am-4pm
Ages 12-15
Discover what it takes to survive in the wilderness. Construct outdoor shelters, build solar stills, and light a fire with just one match. Learn to navigate the forests at Cumming Nature Center with and without a compass. Gain valuable experience in first aid and bushcraft. An optional overnight on Thursday will provide the opportunity to put your newly acquired survival skills to the test.
This camp takes place at Cumming Nature Center. Check-in will be at RMSC, with a bus departing for CNC each day at 8:00am and returning to RMSC at approximately 4:45pm.
